Advance Sexual and Reproductive Rights of Young Teenage Girls
Implemented through our Wasichana Twashinda program, Life Lifters provides comprehensive Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) training to teenage girls aged (11- 19) from rural and grassroots communities. With the overall strategic purpose of reducing poverty by reducing teenage pregnancy rates, preventing early marriage, and increasing secondary school transition rates among rural teenage girls, the program builds and promotes rural girls’ understanding of their bodies and reproductive health by exposing them to comprehensive Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights training, including training in menstrual health and safety and sexual and reproductive rights.
